Today marks four years since Joe Pollack left us. His influence remains, far beyond here at Chez Pollack.

Lynn Venhaus, on behalf of the St. Louis Film Critics Association, sent me the following:

The St. Louis Film Critics Association has received the engraved plaque that they wanted to honor their esteemed colleagues Joe Pollack and Joe Williams with on a wall at the Tivoli.

Management has decided to hang it in the lobby foyer behind the box office, on the same wall as the Joe Williams' framed tribute.

We had previously received permission from Joe Edwards to proceed with the plaque.

We will hold a brief ceremony at 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, in the lobby, recognizing how influential the two Post-Dispatch critics were.

None of the far-flung bureaus (as Joe used to refer to them) of the Pollack/Lemons clan are able to come in for this, but several friends are joining me. We'd be glad to see you, too.
